Reunion des Musèe Nationaux Grand Palais – Louvre
Holder of a university degree (master’s degree in international business, then a post-graduate specialization in economics and culture), he started his professional career at Gaumont, where he held the position of assistant director of multiplex cinemas (at Rennes, Nantes and Paris). Eager to continue in specialized distribution, he worked for 9 years as store manager for the Darty brand (5 different stores), then for almost 4 years at Fnac (Paris-La Défense). These years have been rich in projects combining moves and store openings, as well as commercial development (on new formats of stores). The “Réunion des Musées Nationaux Grand Palais”, a major player in the cultural industry in France, gave he the opportunity in 2013 to take the direction of the Louvre Museum’s stores, to lead the project of transformation of the shops, from 2014 to 2016. The work consisted in projecting new commercial spaces (while preparing temporary spaces during the works in new sales areas) and collaborating with the architects in charge of the project in order to deliver the most efficient commercial shops device. This required extensive work on the organization of sales areas, merchandising and overhaul of the product lines. Work is now ongoing to perfect the system and continue the commercial development around product lines and customer service.
